Those exhausts are classy.

Also, what is a Pegaso?

I love Pegaso! They're gorgeous and underrated/basically unknown. I love the Z102 especially but this one look very inviting. Z102 Coupe?

Wow, I really like their older trucks, for some reason:

Mmm dat Z-102. Looks like Serra or early Pegaso coachwork.

It's the weird rear light treatment that caught my eye.

Yeah! Very unconventional, looks like fangs! And those partially exposed tailpipes, too... So many interesting elements on this car.

That's a unique solution to the "where the hell do we put the taillights?" conundrum. It looks like it just sucked on a lemon.

Beautiful rear.

Kinja'd!!!

Beautiful side profile. Just look at those flowing lines.

Kinja'd!!!

No too sure about the front though. The vertical in the grille takes something away from the overall look and that bonnet really isn't for me at all.

Kinja'd!!!

The 50s truly were the golden age for car beauty. The 1900s were a time of invention, the 20s for speed, the 50s for beauty and grace, with everything up to the 90s being of mass production and now a return to speed with maybe too much emphasis on technology that is pushing the driver further and further away from being the dominant of car over machine to subservient to his own desire for the best technology.

Yes, absolutely!

But my brain was stuck on something more like a late-50s Ford Fairlane 4-door hardtop:

Note how the front treatment matches that of the rear lights.

Ye', not exactly sure about the rear element you refer to but on the front it looks too much while the grille looks like it hasn't received the same sort of attention.

I mean how the boot lid mirrors the bonnet with lights on one and fake grilles on the other.

Yes. I thought that was what you were referring to. The faux grille on the bonnet breaks up the flowing lines too much too much. I just don't like it.

If the faux grille was up on the pain body of the bonnet it might work for me but on the leading edge of the bonnet is quite harsh.

Other cars of that era either had no grille, vertical slat grille ot horizontal slat grille. The Dodge Avenger-esque grille looks uninspired and plain.

Right before I left I was making a phone call and putting on my coat by the entrance to the pavilion, and there was hardly no crowd by a group of these things. Looks like some people didn't know what they were missing.
